Equalities & Diversity Training

This course is designed for all who work with people. The aim of this training is to raise participants’ awareness and understanding of the subject so as to contribute to the promotion of Equality, Diversity and Anti Discriminatory Practice in the workplace.
This subject can be experienced as sensitive and provocative and therefore the course is facilitated in a particularly “safe” way, ensuring that all have the opportunity to explore issues and share views, whilst being regarded respectfully.
The trainer will utilise a range of exercises and training techniques that will assist in promoting the understanding of what it might feel like to be undervalued, marginalised, and oppressed. The trainer will help the group understand a range of terminology related to discrimination.
After clarifying the legislation that underpins the theme, the trainer will help learners understand what the expectations are of them in their workplace.
